Services Twilio SMS

Twilio texting, built into the software you already use

Two-way business texting that follows the carrier rules: customers opt in, STOP works every time, replies land where your team works, and every message has a delivery status.

What I build

Twilio SMS: what's included

A shared texting inbox

Customer replies arrive in your app or CRM next to the job or customer they belong to, not on one person's phone.

Reminders and follow-ups

Appointment reminders, estimate follow-ups and review requests that send on schedule and stop the moment the customer replies.

Opt-in, STOP and HELP

Consent recorded with the time and the exact wording, STOP and HELP answered automatically, and opted-out numbers blocked before anything is sent.

Delivery tracking

Twilio status callbacks record whether each message was delivered or failed, so nobody has to wonder whether the text went out.

Webhooks that check who is calling

Incoming requests are checked against Twilio's signature and refused if it doesn't match.

Registration paperwork

The consent wording, privacy and terms pages and sample messages that carrier (A2P 10DLC) registration asks for.

Sound familiar?

Requests like these

  • “Text customers when their appointment or job status changes”
  • “Send a review request after a paid invoice, only to customers who opted in”
  • “Our Twilio webhook stopped posting replies into our system”
  • “Move business texting off a personal phone into a shared inbox”

Examples of the kind of request this covers, not quotes from clients.

Tessavio Auto shop board, where each repair order has its own text thread
Built and running in Tessavio Auto

Two-way texting inside a shop management system

Tessavio Auto, the repair-shop system I built, texts customers through Twilio: messages on each repair order, estimate approval links, reminders, opt-out handling, delivery status, and webhooks that refuse anything without a valid Twilio signature.

What I won't build

Cold texting, purchased lists or bulk marketing blasts. Carriers filter them, and texting people who never agreed to it breaks the consent rules.

FAQ

Straight answers

Have you done A2P 10DLC registration?

Tessavio's own registration with Twilio is in progress right now. I prepare the pages and sample messages carriers look at, and I'll tell you plainly what I have and haven't done before we start.

Do I need my own Twilio account?

Yes. The account, the phone number and the bill are in your name, so the texting stays yours whatever happens.

What does texting cost to run?

Twilio bills you directly per message and per phone number. The written plan lists the expected monthly cost for your volume before any work starts.

Describe the job in a few lines

I reply in writing with how I’d build it and a fixed price. $55/hour for small fixes; fixed quotes for everything else.
